A word from our CEO

It’s beautiful to come up with a vaccine within months but it’s useless if you can’t produce it by billions within weeks. The past year has put manufacturing at the center of attention. The world has rediscovered what it means to produce, distribute and operate in an affordable, safe, efficient and sustainable manner. The world is rediscovering the true understanding of the word “industry”: the inner genius, projected into the world to build something good for the community. It’s a worldview, the art of making the world. We should think of manufacturing in society, and not as a subset of society. Making businesses and people more aware of how their products and services are delivered—from initial design through to production and distribution—is going to become a key differentiating factor. The really big change for it will come from the virtual twin experiences of manufacturing systems, in other words where reality and ideas become representable and accessible to everyone.
